Their contributions and dedication to the Angel of Goliad are very much appreciated and welcomed. Activities and future plans for the AOGDHP at the March 29th meeting are as follows: 1.Purchasing a brick with family inscriptions on it to build the statue of the Angel up on a pedestal.2.A future descendants of the Angel of Goliad reunion in 2009 or 2010 in Kingsville, Texas 3.Continuation for the laying of the wreath at the statue of the Angel in Goliad in March. Remember this money is for expenses incurred in running the organization. We would like for each of the Angel of Goliad clan to be represented. Our organization is as strong as its members who are dedicated in keeping our ancestor’s memory and deeds alive. Our future children and grandchildren should know and be proud of their roots. It is up to us to teach them and keep her memory alive. We are all very excited and are looking forward to our new year and plans for the Angel of Goliad reunion in Kingsville, Texas. More news on this event will be forthcoming. Respectfully submitted, Becky Shokrian & Rudy Garcia AOGDHP Newsletter Editors
